Toothfully

Review policy

This policy explains which reviews we publish, which we don’t, and how to report a problem.

Who can leave a review

Anyone who has had an appointment at a practice in the last 12 months, about their own visit or one they attended with a child or someone they care for. You can leave one review per visit.

What we publish

Honest accounts of your own experience, good or bad, including the care, the staff, waiting times, costs and communication.

What we don’t publish

  • Personal information about anyone else, including staff’s personal details or other patients
  • Detailed medical information that could identify someone
  • Threats, abuse, discrimination or offensive language
  • Allegations of crimes. Please report these to the police or the General Dental Council instead
  • Reviews written by practice staff, their family, competitors, or anyone paid or rewarded to write them
  • Advertising or links

If we remove a review

We only remove a published review if it breaks this policy, and we show a note on the practice’s page saying a review was removed and why.

Complaints about care

A review isn’t a formal complaint. To complain about NHS dental care, contact the practice first, then the NHS complaints service for your country. Concerns about a dentist’s fitness to practise go to the General Dental Council.
